Review: Canon PowerShot SD870IS Digital Camera
The Canon PowerShot SD870IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3.8x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom is a great camera that helps me take high quality pictures. Some of the best pictures I have taken are from this great camera. The picture quality is high and I can even make high quality prints of up to 16 by 22 thanks to its 8 mega-pixel CCD.
I love how the Canon PowerShot SD870IS has 17 different shooting modes. 10 of the shooting modes are special scene modes and thanks to the 3.8x wide-angle optical zoom, I can get quality pictures even if you are far away. Thanks to the stabilization feature, my images even stay steady when I am zooming up close on them. I also appreciate its face detection technology and how it focuses in on faces and the red eye fix is awesome.
I like the large 3.0 LCD display. It doesn't feel cramped and it is easy to see my pictures in detail. Instead of needing to fumble around with batteries every time I need to use my Canon, I like how it is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be kept charged and always ready. It takes SD memory cards so I can use all of my SD cards from other cameras I have.
I am very happy with my Canon PowerShot. It's slick and chic styling combined with its compact design means that I can take it wherever I go. Just slip it in my purse and I can always capture memories.
