Canon PowerShot SD1000 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera Test Review
Canon has hit a home run with the Canon PowerShot SD1000 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom. I knew I just had to have it the moment I saw it come out. It is such a great digital camera with a chic style. It's sleek, clean and so flat. It slips right into my shirt pocket.
It's a Canon so it's got the quality I expect and it has all of the features that come standard on Canon PowerShot cameras. That means it's got a Print/Share button that allows you to print directly from the camera with the push of a button.
It's got a DIGIC III image processor that utilizes Canon red-eye and face detection technology that is the best in its class. It's focuses quickly so I don't have to slow down on my photo taking.
I love the 3X Optical Zoom because it brings such a brilliance to my pictures that is easily seen in its huge LCD display. They've coated the LCD display with a protective coating that keeps it from easily getting scratched or otherwise damaged.
I like it's 7.1 mega pixel CCD and the 15 x 20 inch photo quality prints that it can turn out. It brings detail to the pictures that I never thought possible before. I like being to manipulate these pictures on the computer and even on the camera itself to create the perfect picture I want.
My Canon PowerShot SD1000 is one of the best camera investments I have made.
